The Met x Anthropologie Tree Topper
Part of a collaborative collection of Art Nouveau pieces created by storied art institution The Met and the well-loved home decor outlet, Anthropologie. I love the poppy motif and elegant style of this floral tree topper.
Books & Inspiration

Home In Bloom
The latest beautiful book from author and floral legend, Ariella Chezar. Perfect for every kind of flower and nature lover and for those who delight in details.
The New Art of Paper Flowers
I am thrilled to finally hold this beautiful book by my talented friend, paper floral artist Quynh Nguyen in my hands! The perfect gift for any flower lover.
Flowers For All
My latest book offers accessible and creative floral design ideas for everyone, regardless of experience. Full of beautiful photography and easy-to-follow instructions, I believe it’s a delightful addition to any flower lover’s library.
The Art of Wearable Flowers
An exploration of floral artistry, this book is perfect for anyone interested in creating unique, wearable flower arrangements. It’s as much an inspiration as it is a practical guide for floral enthusiasts and designers.
Wonder of the Woodlands
This beautiful book is the latest by the talented Françoise Weeks. One of my first mentors and role models, I credit Françoise with opening up my eyes to the possibilities that nature offers. As the subtitle suggests, she has a unique gift of seeing and creating with nature, and through her teachings and example, I was encouraged to express my own unique point of view through the medium of flowers. The natural world is her paintbox, and in this welcoming new book, she offers insights on how to make art out of the treasures found outside each persons’ front door.
Tarot of Flowers Deck
This beautifully made tool for self discovery and reflection was lovingly created by floral artist and writer Jen Lagedrost Cavender of Nectar & Bloom and illustrated by her sister Liz Lagedrost. A thoughtful gift for all seekers.
Beautifying Botanicals
Plant-powered indulgences that bring the essence of flowers into daily life.
Dogwood and Fir
I’m so excited for my stylish and talented friends at Dogwood and Fir as they announce their new fragrance line. They are releasing two scents: Dark and Moody and Soft and Muted. The first is a rich scent that combines cardamom, smoky bourbon, plum, roasted cacao and creamy vanilla. As the scent settles, it reveals a deeper essence of worn leather, moody tobacco, oud and amber. Soft and Muted is a warm, delicate, yet complex blend of ylang ylang, cotton flower, frankincense, white musk, amber, spice, and palo santo. I can’t wait to wear them both!
Every Day Oil
This wonderfully scented lotion replacement is made with organic and wild harvested ingredients and is suited for every skin type and every body. I especially love the “Mainstay” formula made with palo santo, lavender, geranium, and clary sage, and the “Warm Feelings” formula made with bergamot, blood orange, and a hint of patchouli.
Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum
I’ve heard wonderful things about this brand for years, and am treating myself to this cult classic serum for my 50th birthday! A wonderful, lux botanical gift for anyone who enjoys a little self care; and who doesn’t?!
Urb Apothecary Lips Cheeks Tint
I adore this silky, transparent swipe-on tint and use it as a final face-brightening step before walking out the door each day. Sustainably made with botanicals including alkanet root, ylang ylang, and palmarosa, this tint stick smells as wonderful as it looks on the skin. I always pause to take in the scent before putting it on!
Flowers for Your Closet
Botanical motifs meet thoughtful design in these wearable celebrations of floral beauty.
Markimekko “Ihastuttava Unikko” Scarf
Soft, chic, and versatile, this silk scarf in the classic Marimekko Unikko pattern makes a gift anyone would love to receive.
Marimekko ‘Unikko’ Morning Gown
Is it just me, or do others find terry cloth bathrobes to be too heavy and too hot? I love this lighter take made of soft cotton and linen. Perfect for after the bath or for the day lounging that the holiday season brings.
Thistle & Bess “Language of Flowers” Pearl and Citrine Earrings
Created by Ann Arbor, Michigan small business owner and designer Diana Marsh, these lovely earrings are part of a larger collection of flower themed beauties. Diana was inspired by the Victorian language of flowers, and I love that the tenacious little chamomile represents ‘energy in adversity’.
From The Victorian Language of Flowers:
“Chamomile is an unassuming little plant: its flower is daisy-like and petite, its foliage light and feathery, its fragrance gentle. But what battles it fights, and how much stronger it is for the undertaking”
Reader Favorites from 2023
These beloved picks from last year's guide continue to prove their worth in studio and garden alike, earning permanent places in our community's daily practice.
Wheeler Munroe Tool Belt
This may be the very best purchase I’ve ever made! My version of a “gucci bag.” I’ve had my Wheeler Munroe belt for over 10 years, and it just keeps getting better with age. It sits comfortably on the hip and holds all the essential florist tools. Treat yourself or a flower loving friend! I love the comfort and adjustability of the “garden belt” especially.
Meraki Shears
I am a floral knife lover, but always have these shears on hand ( I like the 6.7” blade length ) for tackling branches and tough, thick stems. I adore the color options and efficient, comfortable cutting capability.
Harmony Harvest Flower Frogs
I’m a longtime fan of these easy to use, durable round hairpin flower frogs. The looped structure of them makes for fast and frustration-free designing.
Dram Drinks
I love everything about this company, and had to include it for a second year! I’m always on the search for a bevvy that tastes “grown up” but without alcohol or sugar, and DRAM makes several delicious options. I’m especially fond of their mushroom cola made with adaptogenic mushrooms for immunity and brain health, their lightly caffeinated cardamom and black tea sparkling water, and their newest collection of sparkling waters infused with adaptogens, botanical essences and CBD.
Clever Beast Solid Perfume
I adore this petite, beautifully packaged solid perfume and keep it in my purse at all times. With notes of tomato vine and lemon verbena, it’s the perfect gift and winter pick me up for gardeners and flower lovers. Clever beast is also releasing a new scent this year, in time for the holidays: Gin Forest. With notes of juniper and soft, sweet angelica paired with warm, resinous fir balsam and oak moss, this sounds like the perfect winter scent!
As we wrap up our 2024 gift guide, I'm filled with gratitude for the artisans, makers, and creative minds who continually find new ways to celebrate the world of flowers.
